Maximum Refund Guaranteed

After you pay, if you find that Tax Chopper has not given you the maximum refund or least balance due,
we will refund your service fee in full.
|

Starting from the 2008 tax year, we are extending our guarantee to couples regarding pension splitting -
if the software has not suggested to you the pension splitting amount so you can get your maximum total refund,
we will refund your service fee in full.

We are very proud that, in the past five years, we have been giving every client the maximum refund.
|
|
Unlike some competitors' declarations that only their services can get hold of mysterious breaks hiding
around behind tax forms,
the fact is quite the opposite: every time a client asks us about why Tax Chopper calculates more refund
than others, we just find we are FOLLOWING the tax laws, the one who gives less refund simply does
not apply the appropriate rules.
Whenever asked, we always explain to the client how we calculate his/her return and where the related
tax guide is in CRA's website.

If you find our software does not give you your maximum
refund, even after you filed your return, we will still return your service fee.
Some conditions apply, the conditions are:
- You have entered all required
information into the software - our support is always there to help you achieve this.
- The alternative calculation complies with the tax rules and gives you more benefit.
- You have raised the issue within 90 days after you paid for your return.
- To get maximum total refund from pension splitting, you have to prepare two returns coupled
together in the same account.

If the CRA applies a penalty or interest to you because of an error in our calculations, we will reimburse your service fee as well
as the penalty and interest applied by CRA (excluding your tax owings).
