How to claim Foreign Non-business Tax Credit?

Use "Foreign Non-business Tax Credit" page to identify:

• Foreign income that has been entered in other pages as income but the source of the income was not identified;
• Foreign tax paid that has not been entered anywhere else.

The system will generate form T2209 and T2036 for your return.

If you are in Simple view:

Click on "Interview setup" ==> click "Show all pages" button at the bottom ==> check "Foreign non-business tax credit" ==> click Next at the bottom ==> click on "Foreign non-business tax credit" on the left.

If you are in expert view:

Click on "Foreign Non-Business Tax Credit" under General credit.
